Gom Jabbar

Inspired by Dune by Frank Herbert, Gom Jabbar is a conceptual typeface embodying the austere power and calculated mysticism of the Bene Gesserit order. The design balances elegance with severity through high contrast forms, sharply defined serifs, and squared terminals, expressing ritual precision and controlled authority.

Structured to perform in both extended text and large-scale display, Gom Jabbar merges speculative narrative influence with disciplined typographic craft. Developed with the guidance of Richard Lipton at the Rhode Island School of Design.
